Ariana Grande.

Five years ago, after one of her concerts, Ariana Grande lived the worst experience of her life, when a suicide bomber exploded a bomb in the lobby of the place where she performed in Manchester, England.

Every year since then, Ariana sends gifts and help at Christmas to the children there, and this year was no exception.

On Monday, the Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital Charity thanked her via its Instagram account for donating Christmas gifts to patients at several local hospitals.

“Thank you Ariana!” they posted. “We are so excited to receive Christmas gifts from Ariana Grande for young patients across our hospitals,” the post noted.

In the same statement, the institution revealed that these gifts were distributed among babies, children and teenagers at Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital, Wythenshawe Hospital, North Manchester General Hospital and Trafford General Hospital.

“It’s wonderful that Ariana has once again been so thoughtful and made this special donation to our family of hospitals,” Tanya Hamid, interim director of Manchester Foundation Trust Charity, wrote on Instagram.

“We know that Manchester, and in particular Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital, holds a special place in Ariana’s heart,” she added.

Always remember the victims of the attack

On May 22, 2017, a suicide bomber detonated a bomb inside the stadium’s foyer toward the end of her show, killing 22 people and injuring more than 500.

That prompted the suspension of her “Dangerous Woman” tour, and a month later she returned to Manchester for a benefit concert featuring stars such as Chris Martin, Mac Miller, Katy Perry, Pharrell Williams, Justin Bieber and Miley Cyrus.

That event helped raise more than $13 million for the victims and their families, and every year Ariana writes a message addressed to the survivors and the victims’ families.
