Lionel Messi’s presence at David Beckham’s Inter Miami has brought not only incredible talent but also a generous spirit to the team. Following Miami’s 4-0 victory over Atlanta United, defender DeAndre Yedlin was seen wearing a special gift from Messi himself.

Messi, who was a free agent after his two-year spell at Paris Saint-Germain, made an immediate impact in the United States. He scored a goal two minutes into his Miami debut against Cruz Azul with a beautiful free-kick and continued his great performance in the team’s victory over Atlanta, scoring twice and contributing an assist.

However, it is not just Messi’s on-field contributions that have piqued the interest of his teammates, according to the Express US.The Argentine superstar has swiftly become a favorite among his new teammates, giving each of them a one-of-a-kind gift.

Yedlin, speaking to the media after the win, was seen wearing custom-made pink and black Beats by Dre headphones featuring the club’s badge. When asked about them, Yedlin revealed: “Yeah, that’s Messi. Messi got them for the team. I don’t know if he bought them, but he gave everybody headphones for his first game.”

This generous gesture is not the first one Messi has made for his new teammates. He also came to the rescue when his teammate Leonardo Campana was looking for tickets for Messi’s elaborate unveiling at the DRV PNK Stadium.

Yedlin added: “He popped up straight away and said, ‘How many do you need though?’ Straight away like that. Just to show that generosity, that is a great first example of how he is.”

Messi’s impact on the field has been evident, playing a big role in Miami’s two consecutive victories since his arrival. He scored a goal just eight minutes into the game against Atlanta and added another later in the game, passing the ball in from close range following a low cross from Robert Taylor, whom he also assisted in the second half.

With Messi leading the way, Miami hopes to move up the MLS standings from 16th in the Eastern Conference. Their next game against Charlotte might see them reclaim last place.
